Regular visitors to this site may be concerned/hopeful that the blogstream is drying up. I’d be the first to admit that posts have not been coming thick and fast in recent months, despite my early claims that agricultural archaeology was a virtually limitless topic. This drying-up is due, predictably enough, to a lack of blogging time. Work demands have too often overtaken me. But there is some “good” news in this: because my work overlaps almost entirely with the subject matter of this blog, I should eventually be able to post something about it here. So, in the not-too-distant future, expect something about grain ovens, early medieval Italy, hovels, sheep bones, and perhaps even my adventure with 11,000 seeds. You have been warned.
